I You Friend Joy

HealthyPeace, Kindness, Time, Space, Beliefs, Values, & Every One of Life's rare & wonderful moments have brought me to this moment to say to you dear, dear friend:

I do not want our friendship to change me

I want it to make what is best in me continue

continue so that the worst in me has not time to exist

I do not want loving you to fill my lonely heart

for my creative passion's thirst would be quenched

and lest I go insane trying to answer

how much time could presence be among us

practical everyday lifestyles irreconcilable

I must relinquish all rights to that knowledge

…........... eternally driven by that agony of yearning

or steeped in mine own soul's transcendence......

as joy and pain balance

must one leave and be far from another to see that other in whole

from a distance......

electrical signals in our brain or in our memory or in our entertainment digitizing our lives/

I choose the choice

whatever fullness of my being that in any/every way know a joy

we create and share with others......
