Open Letter to my world Earthling Neighbors
(This is a copy of the letter that went along with the pictures from our Neighborhood get-together Saturday, September 6, 2014; and now also goes to all who attend/will-attend in spirit) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~As a second grader, I had the perfect quip to stave off the embarrassment of my older brothers when needed. It was "You can pick your nose, you can pick your toes, but you can/t pick your family". Nothing is that simple anymore, especially as I advance on the "Temporal Rewards Program"
Were there such a thing, the "picking" of Neighbors is an important variable in life. So hopefully in a wonderfully livable balance between blood feud, vendetta, faida, clan war and shangrila, utopia, heaven, promised land, I will find myself living on this good earth. Before I write a tome, let me stop, put the rest of my thoughts/feelings into a poem, pack up some photos, and give one and all a deep heartfelt thank you for being such wonderful neighbors ......................
