Travelling

Here is a travel photo, circa 1971, Orchard St, in Manhattan's Lower East Side. The business on the far left, Helman's clothing, is 162 Orchard st. I took this photo while sojourning w my brother Bob who lived about 1/2 mile north on 3rd street, between A and B. Bob was a writer and lived a rich cultural life in the area of Lower Manhattan settled by our Jewish ancestors from Poland. My soul always felt fully alive during those visits....Interestingly enough, during the last few years, I have had DNA studies done to find out more of my background. It turns out that I have both Arabic and Jewish genes (probably from the families in Portugal and Spain where Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived peacefully together) with a preponderance from the geographical areas around Portugal, Spain, and Morocco before arriving in Europe.......What a wonderful world!! ~ ~ ~ Health peace love friendship forgiveness mercy kindness beauty joy enthusiasm child-like-glee harmony to/for all each as is "^-"^ blank now and always........... dziękuję, gracias, 谢谢, ringrazio hanno, है धन्यवाद, remercier avoir, thank you, أشكر ديك ...
